About Dr. Sorge
Robert H. Sorge’s six decade Alternative Medicine career got it’s start as a child, when his Medical Doctor’s overmedicated him and left him for dead. They said, “We did everything Medical science could do….”
Friends of his family took him to a famous Naturopathic Doctor and Physical Culturist, Bernard McFadden. Robert H. Sorge learned Naturopathic Detoxification first hand by going through a series of “Healing Crisis” that at first gave the appearance that he was getting worse and that he may “not live through the cleansing process.”
In reality, every “Healing Crisis” he experienced was his body throwing off the “bottom line cause” of all disease, namely toxicity, plus a “lifetime of immune suppressing Pharmaceuticals”, often called “Medications”.
After his initial Detoxification process that consisted of fasting, raw juice therapy, colonics, sauna/ sweat therapy– Dr. McFadden introduced him to a new lifestyle of natural foods, natural food supplements and vigorous exercise with periodical fasting and raw juice therapy.
As a result of God’s divine intervention within 10 years, Robert H. Sorge climbed from his death bed to the “Victory Platform” as the winner of the Mr. North America Body Building Contest, standing alongside some of the strongest men in the world.
He became one of the pioneers in the modern day fitness industry, beginning with America Health Studios and eventually building a chain of his own 27 Health Club in the 1950’s and 1960’s.
He was the first conscript in American history to challenge the U.S. Army on the issue of inoculations. He hold’s fast to the same moral conviction and Biblical Faith as he did in the 1960’s when he was Court Marshaled and put in“the black box”, as a punishment and example of his belief.
Dr. Sorge equates the inoculation of monkey puss, cow mucus, mercury and horse urine not to any form of so called science or medicine, but to ancient Egyptian sorcery a (non-biblical) faith. This system of false deities was totally destroyed by The Prophet Moses prior to Israel’s, exodus from captivity in Egypt.
Dr. Bernard McFadden encouraged Robert H. Sorge to pursue studies in Natural Health. In the 1950’s, he enrolled in a foreign school that offered home study, classroom and clinical opportunity. He graduated The Anglo American Institute of Drugless Therapy, in 1964 with a Doctorate in Drugless Osteopathy, (D.O.), and a second Doctorate in Naturopathy (N.D.).
Dr. Sorge continued his studies at The United States School of Naturopathy and Applied Sciences, the oldest Naturopathic School in the country, organized in 1898. In 1972, Dr. Sorge received his Doctorate of Philosophy in Naturopathic Medicine, (PhD). In 2001, Dr. Sorge received his (PND), Philosopher of Naturopathic Medicine, the highest degree given by this institution and only seven degrees awarded by the school in 110 years of history.
Prior to 1913 all medical Schools where Naturopathic or Naturopathically grounded. At that time the Pharmaceutical establishment began taking over all the school in the country. A number of aware Congressmen at the time knew what was going on and could not be bought. Lead by Congressman Charles Lindberg (the “Lone Eagle”), and first man to fly across the Atlantic from New York to Paris, they wanted the country to always have an option to Orthodox Drug Medicine. Naturopathic Medicine was always a viable option.
As a result, in 1920 The United States School of Naturopathy and Applied Sciences was granted a special charter by an Act of The United States Congress.
Dr. Robert H. Sorge, motivated by his near death experience at the hand of his “MD’s”, and the encouragement of his early teachers has continued to fight “The Orthodox Drug/Pharmaceutical Establishment” and for the people’s right to “Freedom of Choice” in Health Care.
Doctor Sorge has successfully continued to practice “True Naturopathy”. True Naturopathy is first a Philosophy and
it is second, a way of life that gives us our discipline for daily living, and lastly as a preventative Medicine System that focuses on high level wellness.
In effect, Naturopathy does not teat disease at all–it treats the individual for nutritional deficiencies, toxicity, stress, fitness and metabolic imbalance.
After a four decade battle, in 1994, the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners and the Attorney General entered into a consent order, that permits Dr. Robert H. Sorge to practice Naturopathic Medicine. This is the First Consent Order of this kind in New Jersey in it’s 300 year history. As long as Dr. Sorge doesn’t practice “Drug Medicine”, he is free to practice his “Wellness Specialty”.
Dr. Sorge is the Director of the Abunda Life Medical Nutritional Testing Clinic, a Holistic Wellness Clinic, , in Asbury Park, New Jersey. He is also the Director of Abunda Life’s Naturopathic Detoxification, Bodyfat Loss Boot Camp. He is the Formulator of over 600 Naturopathic Food Medicine Nutracuticals, Natural Food Supplements and Natural Healing Remedies.
Dr. Sorge’s Basic Healing Philosophy is that God created the body with the innate mechanism to heal itself.
