I can’t help but laugh at what is sold as herbal products in America. It’s no wonder the drug medicine profession so often say, “ herbs don’t work.” The stuff pawned off in most stores and mail-order catalogues is so diluted, weak, refined, and processed they can’t work. Most people don’t know, they think all herbs are the same.

Most manufacturers, packers, processors, packagers, and distributors of herbs never see a real patient eyeball to eyeball in their entire life. They specialize in putting into bottles and getting to market the cheapest stuff possible in order to compete with other cutthroat manufacturers in a saturated market. Everyone is in the herb/vitamin business today. Even medical doctors who just a few short months ago advised their patients not to take supplements.

Since the free market is not fierce enough, pharmaceutical companies have begun to play a game tried by the Japanese in the 1980s. It’s called “Cut the heart out.”

The International Drug Trust has begun to manufacture cheap herbs, not because they have repented for their millions of murders committed in the name of modern day medicine, but they distribute their herbs and vitamins at a loss with the intent of wiping out the fair market place. In some cases they actually give the herbs for free to distributors of their over the counter and prescription drugs. The herbs are sold for less than the cost of the packaging to retail customers.

Since 1964 I have had to look at each patient straight in the face, eyeball to eyeball. Everyday of my life I was compelled to get results with real people with real problems in real time. I labored through the night for many years, developing, refining, weeding out, and perfecting every one of our 500 plus natural remedies. Most producers of herbs are like the Orientals who copy, copy, copy. Few have a single original idea of their own except how to steal from someone who does. Others bottle herbal theories borrowed from books, written by herbalist who studied in classrooms but never had the guts to treat a real cancer patient or a truly sickly person.

The state, federal, and local authorities instigated charges against me 17 times in my career. One insane judge actually sentenced me to two years in jail for practicing medicine without a license. This Damocles sword sat over my head for two years while my case went through the appeals process.

Thank God for Superior Court Judge __________, one of the few state judges who was capable of fair, sensible, conscious thought and adjudication and not another pawn of the system. Judge __________ ripped into the State Attorney General’s office and the Medical Board for 30 minutes. Then spent 10 minutes castigating the insane Judge, then congratulating me on my firm stand. What a glorious day, I hate courts, but what a day that was. I took the courts written decision over to the insane judge who refused to see met, but he did receive a mind-opening letter from me. He resigned from the bench the following week.

New Jersey, remember, is the pharmaceutical capital of the world. Practicing Naturopathic Medicine in New Jersey in the 1960’s to the present can only be equated to St. Paul preaching the gospel on Mars Hill.

In 1978 we had an association of 60 practicing naturopathic doctors in New Jersey. All vowed to fight the medical establishment together. In 1980 after the persecution stated there were three. The evil one’s wore out one. They drove him into a nervous breakdown. The others they bankrupted. In 1984 I was left to fight the battle alone.

In reality I was never alone God was with me. It was his will that I remain a practicing doctor of naturopathic medicine in the middle of philistine surrounded by the enemy.

Through all of these trials, Abunda Life products continued to increase in demand because they work.

Most manufacturers and distributors of herbs have no idea where their herbs come from. They’ve never seen one grow, never witnessed a harvest, most have never talked to a farmer in their entire life. Getting quality herbs is everything. I’ve traveled the globe in search of quality producers. I talk with farmers, test the soil, and ask questions. Anyone can buy cheap herbs, that takes no talent. The challenge is to get quality herbs, grown on highly fertile soil, properly watered, nourished, and cultivated, insecticide, pesticide, and chemical fertilizers free.

I have found that the difference in potency of the quality herb and a cheap herb could be 50 to 1. That means 50 times the nutrition, plant chemistry and intrinsic factors.

Most of our herbs are wild harvested. This means that the herbs were foraged in the wild in their native habitats. They are real herbs, unrefined, unprocessed, and in their natural form.

Most cheap, store-bought, commercial herbs are imported from third world countries like India, Egypt, and China where the soil is worthless. These countries still use DDT, carcinogenic insecticides, and fertilizers by the truckload. The people are sick because the soil is sick. If you drink the water in these countries you may not be the same person ever again. To make things worse, when cheap herbs are imported they are irradiated, sterilized, and embalmed with tons of toxic chemicals and sprays to kill the rats and bugs. These chemicals are known to cause cancer and mutate unborn children.

At Abunda Life, we believe in our own products. We are our own best customers. We take our own products. I’ve been taking them for 40 years. We’re now going into the 4th generation of users.

If it weren’t for the fact that we take our own products, we would have quit manufacturing and distributing herbs decades ago. We would have allowed the producers of cheap herbs to go unchallenged.
