Orthodox Drug Medicine and Abunda Life Herbal Medicine – What is the difference?

Herbs have been mankind’s natural medicine since the beginning of recorded history. Thousands of years before the first modern day antibiotics were discovered herbs alone served as man’s primary care.

At Abunda Life we believe that herbs were given to us by Our Creator as mankind’s natural medicine (Psalms 104:13). We believe our bodies were created from the minerals, elements, and nutrients of the earth.

We believe that disease begins with a nutritional deficiency in the very elements that our body is made from that comes from the dust of the ground. Long before a medical name is placed on a disease it is first a nutritional deficiency.

Herbs contain an amazing number of naturally occurring, active chemicals that have powerful biological healing activity on the human body.

Americans seeking an alternative to orthodox drug medicine have attempted to equate herbs to drugs. Some newly converted medical doctors have thought that they could simply substitute an herb for a drug, cookbook style. Naturopathic doctors have always known that this type of medicine is not possible.

There is a vast difference between Abunda Life’s herbs and drugs. It is not possible to substitute one for another. God created the herbs to work probiotically with the body’s life force. Man created drugs, which are in effect antibiotics that work against the body’s life force. There is no comparison between the two.

Herbs nourish; drugs kill. The body accepts the herbs like a food. The body rejects the drugs as foreign substances. The body’s life force works with the herbs, it works against the drugs. It accepts one and rejects the other.

Allopathic drug medicine is a science of poisoning one system of the body to cause a reaction by another system. Its goal is to relieve or suppress a symptom.

Modern day medical science has advanced exponentially with the advent of our high tech age, but the allopathic practice of poisoning and suppression of disease symptoms has not changed since ancient times. A good case for the religious practice of sorcery under the name of medicine could easily be made.

For 150 years pharmaceutical companies have been among the biggest gangsters in world history. They search the four corners of the earth seeking herbs that work. They then have their chemists isolate what is known as the active ingredient (what they, in their infinite wisdom, deem is the single ingredient that makes the herb work). They then patent it, which means they get a 17-year government monopoly to sell the product for any price the market will bear.

Examples of their witchcraft include drugs like digoxin from the herb foxglove, colchicine from the herb autumn crocus, morphine from poppy seed, and hundreds more.

What’s the difference? Why is one a drug and not a concentrated herb?

God created the whole herb for man’s medicine, not one isolated active ingredient (Psalms 104:14). Some drugs have thousands of times the concentration of one single component of the herbs as it is found in nature. That single component is isolated from hundreds of synergistic components that are discarded. The final drug, after it is processed, no longer has even the slightest resemblance to the original herb.

In the allopathic system hundreds sometimes thousands of natural ingredients intrinsic in the whole herb as it is found in nature that are not considered “active agent” are tossed.

Do you know what these discarded ingredients are supposed to do? Do you have any idea what part they play to the whole? Or why Our Creator put them there?

I don’t know, you don’t know, and neither do the drug companies searching for a government patent. Interestingly, we know so little about the discarded segment of the herb that the best our greatest scientists can do is refer to it as inert material and/or intrinsic factors.

Isolating a single active ingredient is just another form of drugging. Most drug making begins with an inorganic substance, chemical or coal tar. But just because a drug starts off in it’s raw state as a natural product does not make it any more or less a drug.

At Abunda Life we don’t believe in drugging. We believe in using the whole herb as Our Creator gives it to us in nature. We don’t tamper with our herbs as some do. Some herbalists who manufacture 2x, 4x, 20x the herbs are in effect druggers in disguise in my opinion.

Unlike drugs, herbs and plants use an indirect route to the bloodstream to target their intended organs. Herbs usually work much slower at first than drugs. Herbs are not poisons like drugs, therefore far less dramatic in their effects. Persons using herbs must be patient, thankful, and persistent.

Patients and doctors brainwashed by the pharmaceutical industry’s quick relief propaganda may not have the sense or the patience for herbal medicine to go through its safe, effective, natural process.
