Vision Enhancer (CT–402)

Vaccinium Myrillus, fruit extract of Bilberry, is an herb that is synonymous with healthy eyes.  For over 1,000 years Bilberry has been a folk remedy for a variety of eye conditions.  During World War II, Royal Air Force pilots ate bilberry jam, before night missions, to improve their vision.  This herb contains compounds called anthocyanosides, which are amazing natural antioxidants that protect the capillaries from free radical damage, thereby improving circulation.  Anthocyanosides are also involved in the regeneration of retinal pigment needed to help the eye adapt to light.  This unique herb may be beneficial to people suffering from many different forms of eye diseases, including glaucoma, which is caused by high occular pressure, to diabetic retinopathy, which results from poor circulation to the eye.

Myrtocyan, a prescription medicine, is produced from this herb, providing yet another example of the enormous debt, modern day medicine owes to nature’s pharmacy.  Although herbal medicine is not a medical treatment or cure for named medical conditions, it can help to prevent further damage by improving blood flow to the eye.

Recent research reveals that this remarkable herb is not only good for your eyes but may be useful in the prevention of other vascular conditions.  When circulation is poor, it can hamper the flow of blood to the legs and feet, resulting in pain, numbness, tingling of the skin and fluid retention.  Several studies have shown that anthocyanosides can help relieve potentially debilitating symptoms.

In Short:  Bilberry protects against common vision problems and improves general circulation. It works best when combined with Duo C Complex
